Cancer and Post-Cancer Care

Recovery requires more than rest.

Specialized support during and after cancer treatment, focused on comfort, nutrition, mobility, and the long hours between appointments.

The reality

Cancer treatment is unpredictable. Energy comes and goes. Appetite changes. Some days call for company; others call for quiet. Our caregivers learn the rhythm of the person they are caring for and adjust day-to-day so support feels seamless, not imposed.

The same caregiver, day after day, becomes a familiar face during a season when familiarity is rare.

The boutique difference, in oncology care.

What our care includes

Through treatment, and after.

01

Personal care on low-energy days

Bathing, dressing, grooming — done with patience for the body's pace.

02

Meals tuned to treatment-side nutrition

Protein when it is needed. Soft foods when chemotherapy makes chewing hard. Hydration always.

03

Medication management and schedule tracking

Anti-nausea, pain management, prescriptions, supplements. Documented and reviewed.

04

Light housekeeping for a restful home

A clean kitchen and clear floors matter more during treatment than at any other time.

05

Transportation to treatments and appointments

We drive. We wait. We help the family stay informed when they cannot be there.

06

Companionship through long hours

Treatment days can be long. Recovery days, longer. We are there for the conversation, the silence, and everything in between.

07

Coordination with oncology and palliative teams

When appropriate, with consent, we work alongside the medical team to keep care aligned.

08

Family communication

Daily notes when appropriate. A call when something matters.

During and after

The plan adapts.

We support clients through active treatment and into recovery. As strength returns, we adjust the care plan: less hands-on help, more independence-supporting presence. The Administrator reviews the plan regularly with the family.
