The founder
Dexter Dike.
Dexter's career in home health care began in 2016. He has always been guided by one truth: the best care happens where people feel safest, at home. From hands-on caregiving to working alongside families and healthcare professionals, Dexter has seen firsthand how compassionate, high-quality care preserves dignity and restores peace of mind.
In 2021, motivated by a desire to offer something more personal, Dexter founded Giving Care Houston. He envisioned a boutique home care agency where clinical excellence and heartfelt compassion come together to provide truly personalized support for Houston families.
Today, Giving Care Houston is a trusted name in personalized home care across Houston. Built on field experience, the highest professional standards, and the belief that every individual deserves respect, empathy, and professionalism.

We are intentionally small. The Administrator personally interviews every caregiver, and our roster grows slowly so the families we serve recognize the same faces, week after week, month after month, year after year.
A client referred today gets the same caregiver tomorrow, next week, and three months from now.

Free in-home consultation
We come to you. The Administrator meets with you and your family to understand the situation, the home, and what care looks like at its best.

Personalized care plan
Built around your loved one's life and routines, not a template. Reviewed with the family before any caregiver is assigned.

Caregiver matching
Every caregiver is interviewed personally by the Administrator before assignment. We match for skill, schedule, and personality.

Ongoing care
Your point of contact is the Administrator, not a call center. Care plans evolve with the client. We are reachable.
